CONDITIONS


1. Booking & Payment

Full Payment Required: All appointments must be paid in full at the time of booking. Your appointment is not confirmed until full payment has been received.

Non-Refundable Policy: All payments are strictly non-refundable. If you cancel your appointment for any reason, no money will be returned.

Payment covers administrative costs, preparation time, and the reservation of your appointment slot.

2. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Late Policy

48-Hour Notice: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment, rearrangements outside of this window will be at Studio Aura's discretion.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will not be refunded.

No-Shows: Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in the full payment being retained.

Late Arrivals

If you are more than 20 minutes late without notifying and discussing this with Studio Aura in advance, your appointment will be cancelled and your payment will be forfeited.

If you arrive over 20 minutes late, I reserve the right, at my discretion, to:

Cancel the appointment, or

Proceed with the treatment but adjust it to fit the remaining available time.

Any decision to rearrange the appointment or continue with a shortened treatment is entirely at my discretion.

3. Client Safety & Requirements

Patch Testing: Treatments such as lash lifts, tinting, or brow lamination require a patch test at least 24 hours prior to your first appointment. If you fail to book or attend your patch test, we cannot perform the treatment and your payment will be forfeited.

Medical Accuracy: It is your responsibility to provide full and accurate health information. We reserve the right to refuse service if a treatment is deemed unsafe.

No Children or Additional Guests: To ensure safety, insurance compliance, and a relaxing environment, no children or additional guests are permitted at appointments. Only the client receiving treatment may attend unless previously agreed in writing.

4. Isle of Man Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with the Isle of Man Data Protection Act 2018.

Purpose: We collect and store your contact details and health information solely for the purpose of safely providing beauty treatments and for insurance compliance.

Lawful Basis: Our lawful basis for processing your data is ‘Contract’ (to fulfil your appointment) and ‘Legal Obligation’ (for insurance and health records).

Retention: Your records are stored securely and retained in line with professional insurance guidelines.

Your Rights: Under IOM law, you have the right to access your data, request corrections, or request erasure (where not overridden by legal retention requirements).

Contact: For data concerns, you may contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) on the Isle of Man.

5. Liability & Right to Refuse Service

Studio Aura is not liable for any adverse reactions where contraindications were not disclosed or where aftercare advice has not been followed.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time if a client behaves inappropriately, arrives unwell, or if continuing the service would compromise safety, professional standards, or wellbeing.
